A Poem

So, I’m not quite sure what to write for this post so I’m going to share a poem and hide some links in it…

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

A Photo to Inspire Revolution

We read this article online about a teenager that took photo and how it helped to inspired Libyan revolution. In the article, the photographer, Zehra Tajouri, talks about how she took the photo as a way to inspire her friends and help to show them that there will be change. I think the photo is really amazing; I don’t think it would have had the same effect if her sister hadn’t been in the picture. I like how the green of the flag is what really stand out in the picture because of how important it is. I think it’s an amazing picture and had a great intention behind it.
